After the opening of The Oberoi, Dubai in 2013, The Oberoi Group has now expanded its offering in the UAE. The Oberoi Beach Resort, Al Zorah has launched in Ajman this month, and will put a new natural beach destination for the UAE on the map, thanks to the 5.4 million sq metres of pristine coastal land and 2 million square metres of mangrove forest surrounding the hotel.
Set just 25 minutes from Dubai International Airport, Al Zorah is the first luxury hotel to open in Ajman. It has been designed by Piero Lissoni and offers 113 rooms, suites and villa with an abundance of natural light and outstanding sea views, some with private pools. It also hosts a Jack Nicklaus 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course managed by Troom, and offers adventure activities including kayaking, watersports and diving.
The Oberoi Spa will offer signature therapies and treatments by Alqvimia in eight-treatment rooms, two hammams, Turkish baths, an 80–metre pool, a 24-hour gym, and daycare facilities and a kids club for families. Indoor, al–fresco and beachside dining venues serve a range of cuisines, including an in-house ‘fish sommelier’ to assist guests when selecting their meals from the live seafood counter.
